The former US president, Barack Obama has released his favorite music of 2022.
Obama, in the early hours of Saturday shared on his social media handles, his end of year music playlist which featured 25 songs with Nigeria’s top artists; Burna Boy, Arya Starr and Rema on the list.
‘Last Last’, the hit song by Burna Boy, ‘Rush’ by Ayra Starr and ‘Calm Down’ by Rema were featured on Obama’s favorite music of 2022.
Other songs on the list include ‘Break My Soul’ by Beyonce, ‘The Heart Part 5’ by Kendrick Lamar, ‘Shirt’ by SZA, and ‘About Damn Time’ by Lizzo.
President Obama has it as a tradition to share the list of favorite music he enjoyed listening at the end of every year.
In a statement he released, he wrote:
I always enjoy sharing my end of year music playlist with all of you — and this year we heard a lot of great songs. Here are some of my favorites.
